2024 Commencement Information

Baccalaureate Mass: June 4, 7PM at Visitation BVM in Trooper
Graduation: June 5, 11AM at Cabrini University's Dixon Center
 
Seniors are required to be at practice for both events in full Carroll uniform. Baccalaureate practice will be held at Visitation on Monday, June 3 from 9:30AM to noon and graduation practice will be from 8:45AM to 1PM at Cabrini on Tuesday, June 4. Please be on time for both events, as we cannot begin until all seniors are present. If a senior does not attend, consequences are as followed: detention after the practice missed, remove from ceremonies, withholding of diploma receipt, and a day's long detention during the week of June 13.
There are no extra tickets available for either commencement events.
 
Graduation packages will be distributed on Thursday, May 23 to all seniors if the following obligations are fulfilled: final tuition and fee payments have been received, final exams and/or projects have been completed for each class, all academic material necessary for return have been received, all athletic uniforms and gear necessary for return have been received and/or paid for, and there are no holds from the Office of Student Life such as unreceived absence notes, unserved detentions, or fines.
 
The packages includes: 
ONE Cap, gown, stoll, and tassel
TWO Baccalaureate Mass tickets 
SEVEN Graduation Ceremony tickets 
TWO Parking Graduation Ceremony parking passes

Students must report by 6:30 PM and doors will open for guests to arrive. Mass will start at 7:00 PM. 
Each student receives two tickets for the Mass. Parking at Visitation is first come, first serve.
 
Attire for students: Gowns are worn at BOTH ceremonies, for the ENTIRE ceremony.  NO CAPS are worn at BACCALAUREATE. Students may not carry anything into Mass, inclusive not restricted to flowers, corsages, inappropriate materials, contraband, and cell phones.
Ladies should wear a white or light colored dresses/skirts ONLY under the gown. White or neutral colored dress shoes are suggested, and no sneakers, flip-flops, and casual sandals are NOT acceptable.
Gentlemen should wear dress pants, a shirt, dress shoes, and socks under the gown, a tie is suggested. Senior gentleman MUST be clean-shaven. Sneakers, sandals, and/or athletic shoes are NOT permitted. 

June 5, 2024: Cabrini University Dixon Center; 610 King of Prussia Rd. Radnor, PA 19087
 
Student must report at 10:15 AM, upstairs in the Dixon Center, for attendance, dress code check, and procession line up. Doors will also open to guests at this time. The Class of 2024 Procession will begin promptly at 10:45 AM.  the Commencement Ceremony will start at 11:00 AM. Each senior will receive 7 tickets, and will be collected at the door. No one will be admitted to the Graduation Ceremony without a ticket. 
Please note: Handicapped seating information is due to The Office of Student Life by Wednesday, May 15. In regards to graduation parking, each senior receives two parking passes that must be displayed on vehicles parking at Cabrini University. No car will be admitted without a parking pass. Carpooling is recommended.

Baccalaureate and Graduation are ceremonies to truly celebrate each graduate. It is important for graduates and guests to recognize this and conduct themselves appropriately. We ask that both ceremonies are not disrupted by cheering, shouting, or loud sounds made by any sort of device. Cell phones must be silenced during both events as well. It is asked at the audience remains silent during all student names begin called, especially during the receiving of diplomas at Graduation. No student dismissed from Carroll, or who has left for discipline reasons, is permitted to attend the Baccalaureate or Graduation.  All Carroll staff reserves the right to deny anyone admission to either event, as Baccalaureate and Graduation are not public/open events.
 
Please note: Security from both venues along with township police will be on hand at both events to handle any uninvited situations.
 
Photographers from Legacy Photography will be present to take pictures of each student as individual diplomas are received. Therefore, parents and relatives are requested to refrain from entering the aisles to take pictures during the ceremony. You will have an opportunity to purchase a print and the proof will be emailed shortly after graduation.
